Welcome
You have arrived in the mountains — not just to stay, but to slow down.
At WAMOS, we believe luxury is not excess.
It is space. Silence. Intention. Care.
This land has its own rhythm. The sun decides the day. The weather shapes plans. Silence carries meaning.
This booklet is your gentle guide — to the property, to Auli, and to the mountains that host us all.
Living lightly, leaving no trace
Respecting the Mountains
The Himalayas are not just a landscape — they are a living ecosystem. Your awareness helps protect it.
No Littering
Dispose of all waste — wrappers, tissues, and cigarette butts — only in the bins provided.
Carry Plastic Back
Waste disposal facilities in the mountains are limited. We request guests to carry all plastic waste back to the plains.
Wildlife & Nature
Dogs, birds, animals, and plants are part of a delicate ecosystem. Please do not disturb, feed, or interfere with them.
Nature Over Convenience
Power fluctuations, limited connectivity, and slower services are part of mountain living. This intentional pace allows nature to lead.
Silence Is Sacred
The quiet belongs to the mountains, forests, and night skies. Please help us preserve it.
By staying at WAMOS, you become part of a larger story — one that protects nature and uplifts the local community.
At WAMOS
Property Usage Guidelines
At WAMOS, comfort exists in harmony with the mountains. These guidelines help us maintain a mindful, low-impact stay for all.
Energy & Water Conservation
We consciously work to keep our carbon footprint low. Please switch off lights, geysers, heaters, and air-conditioning when not in use and before leaving the room. Excessive or negligent usage may be charged.
Power Supply
In case of an acute power shortage, the generator may be operated for limited durations during the day only. This helps preserve the natural rhythm of the mountains while keeping noise and emissions to a minimum.
Water Policy
Refillable water bottles are provided for your use. Packaged water (Bisleri) is available on request at ₹50 per bottle.
Kitchen Timings
Our kitchen operates from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Kindly place meal orders within these hours.
Quiet Hours
To protect the calm of the mountains, loud music or noise is not permitted after 10:00 PM.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas. Please use the ashtrays provided.
Care for Property
Kindly treat furniture, linens, and amenities with care. Any damage or loss will be charged at actuals.
Bonfires & Fire Safety
Bonfires are arranged only by the WAMOS team and are subject to weather conditions. Personal bonfires are chargeable at ₹1,000. The wood is responsibly sourced by local villagers, and this contribution directly supports local children's education initiatives.
